Also referred to as yellow peppers, the taste of Caribe peppers is medium hot to hot, typically higher on the "Scoville Unit" scale ( a way to measure the heat index in peppers) than most other peppers. These peppers have a waxy sheen and are also used as canned pickled peppers.
